Looking For Stocking Suggestions

So, as per title, im going to re-do my tank again, looking for a final stocking list for it. Tank is 48" long, 15" deep, 18" tall, 212 litres (55 usg 47ukg), running an APS2000EF filter, PH 6.8, temp 26.5oC, Planted, with wood.

I'm looking to keep my 2 Kribensis, 2 Bolivian Rams, 1 Firemouth, 1 Bristlenose, 7 Bronze / albino Cory's, 3 Oto's.

I'm re-homing 4 Black neon tetras, 3 zebra danios, 1 swordtail, 1 ruby shark, 2 Bolivian rams.

Im looking for colourful shoalers, top tank dwelling, preferably south american!

I'm trying to keep the tank south american (Kribs counted as dwarf Cichlids!)

I think the firemouth might get too aggressive for the other fish in the future. I would up your otos to at least 5. Top dwelling tetras from SA are hatchetfish, but if its colorful you want you can get Bleeding Hearts, Pink Jewel, Serpae, Red and Blue Colombian, and Lemon Tetras.

Hatchet Fish are a definite no no, missus does not like, im not too keen on the body shape either to be fair. I am going to try an up the Oto's again soon, did have 8 originally, but they dropped pretty quick, tanks now a lot maturer. The Firemouth does zip around after a couple, but no more than my kribs do, or the male Bolivians to be fair, but ill defo keep my eye on him.

Those Tetra's are nice, ill keep looking for some of them, i'm aiming to add a good shoal, 10+. The missus wants Neons or Cardinals, but the books i read say PH of 5.0 to 6.0 for them, is it the same from farms? i thought otherwise!

If you buy your fish from your LFS, then they should already be acclimated to the local tap pH. Unless you plan to breed them, theres no need to tamper with the pH. I would go with cardinals, neons might get snacked on and cardinals are sturdier. Caution though, that firemouth might eventually gobble the cardinals up too
