This is the tank in question. It will be heated and planted. Just unsure what my options are really and I am open to all ideas. Thanks for the help!

Tricky one because of its shape - what are the base dimensions? Whats your water like in terms of hardness too?

The tough bit will be that you likely need to stick to nano or pico species so hopefully if you have softwater you could still do something cool. A trio of Tiger Badis would be cool, with some chilli rasbora, cherry shrimp and if soft enough clown killifish? Or if you have harder water go for Endlers and Emerald Rasboras with some shrimp and snails - cherry could be ok still or go for Amanos.

Water is Soft couldnt tell you the exact number. The tanks dimensions are 35cm x 35cm, x 58cm. I like the idea of Killifish not a species Ive kept before.

I dont know tons about killifish but there are some great species out there. A lot of people are put off them as they are quite short lived and the adults we see in the shop are well through their lifespan. Clown Killies are nice though, black and yellow and the males get an amazing blue and red tail. Very tiny surface dwellers though so not sure I'd devote a full tank to them.

I had some of the Tiger Badis years ago and they were really nice even at the small size you can see the colours and patterns.
