Looking for snails

anyone nice enought to send me some common snails to start a colony for my future dwarf puffers I have looked every where ponds petstores streams. thanks
john also what is the best food to feed a snail colony

You really can't find any? Does any tank at your lfs have baby snails in it? If so, get some of those and pop them into their own tank, in time they will start to multiply like rabbits. I put a piece of lettuce in with my snails and the next day I saw some eggs on the side of the tank. The snails are no bigger then the size of a pea, and I have heard that it's harder to get bigger snails to have babies then it is to have smaller snails. HTH & Good Luck
