Looking For New Fish

I am looking for some new fish to be homed in my 150 litre tall tank. 36" x 21" x 12"
i currently have soft water fish but i am hoping to sell them as i do not have the time to keep filtering the water (RO filter) from hard to soft and my water bill has risen (obviously).
 
looking for some suggestions for some hard water fish as i have hard tap water. 
i was thinking about a shoal of fish like barbs. 
i was hoping to have just one type of fish in the tank as well. e.g. just tiger barbs
 
any suggestions would be great

Tiger Barbs and Denisoni Barbs are great shoaling fish which do well in hard water. Rainbowfish would work too.

most livebearers do good in hard water, as do african cichlids. Barbs generally tolerate harder water but would prefer neutral waters.
