Im looking for a background plant that will grow quickly and to the top of the tank in my sig. my lighting is 2x 65W t5 and the tank is 55 US galloons. i just started using a diy co2 and i also dose flourish and excel. im thinking wisteria but if there are any easier/better plants out there feel free to suggest them lol.

thanks in advance

what type of plant are you looking for?

theres loads of stem plants (i dont know the name of) which can grow tall.
amazon swords grow big.
vailis
wisteria would work well i think :good:

yeah i have "jungle" vals (i ordered jungle but i kinda think that they are corkscrew vals) in there but they really havent grown well so im thinking of getting rid of them. i also already have crypt balanse in there so i would like a stem plant or a bunch plant like star grass to contrast that if you know what mean.

i also have a question about my co2 diffuser, which is the ceramic pore type. i just set up a diy co2 rig and my bubble counter was showing a few bubbles a minute but nothing is going through the diffuser. so do you think there is something wrong or is the pressure just not high enough? also there are no leaks; i checked by submerging the whole unit in my pool.

Cabomba, Limnophila, Elodea, Hygrophila? Loads of choice for stem plants mate as they usually get tall and grow like wild fire.

No idea on the co2, ask in the co2 section, probably get a quicker answer. :)

im a little disappointed, the selection wasnt very good today, but i did get a nice bunch of some kind of cabomba and a sword. i almost bought a plant that the lfs called lemon bacopa, kinda looked like bacopa australis, but i wasnt really sure what it was so i didnt lol.
