Looking For An External Filter, Recommendations ?

I have (2) APi Rena filters, an XP3 on a 36 gallon & an XP2 on a 55 gallon.  Both work great.  I bought the XP3 used, and the XP2 brand new on Amazon for like $80 US, shipping included.  You could easily get away with the smaller XP1:
