Looking to add a shoal of small, brightly colored fish. I've looked through the fish index, but I just can't decide what I want! Tank is open top, so jumpers are out of the question.

Current stock (40usg long):
12 glowlight tetras
4 sunset platies
1 female krib
5 ottocats
10 khuli loaches

They look a lot like columbian tetras, are they related in any way?
I like their coloring...how well do they shoal?

^^ They are a Rainbow, not a tetra so not related to the Columbian Tetras, except that they are a fish... lol

The rainbows are nice, they colour up a really shiny light blue and te males get bright red fins and the females a bright yellow/orange fins. They shoal really well.

I quite like some decent big harlequin rasbora or copperline rasbora for shoaling as they shoal really tightly together, most rasbora shoal better than tetras!

Or I also really like White Fin Bentosi Tetras, Emerald Eye Rasbora, Massive shoal of Ember Tetras, Cardinal Tetras, Rice Fish (Orzias woworae) and Red Phantom Tetras.

:good:
