Looking For A New "big" Fish Centerpiece.

yeah but what size? dimensions....

its just shy of 4 ft long, the other dimensions im not 100% on.

a small group of 5 should be fine, maybe 6

these are a fish ive always fancied keeping but never got round to it. if you do go for them just be aware that they ahve very narrow throats and juvis can choke on larger foods so feed small foods to start

Bosemanis are great fun. No damage to my plants either. I wouldn't have immediately thought of them as 'centrepiece fish' cause they're quite shoal-y and fly around all the time, but if they're anything like mine they'll be out, front and centre just hanging out, every time.

I got unlucky and picked what turned out to be one male and 5 females, though, so although he's happy I have a tank full of plain silver 'rainbowfish'

well thats great to hear about them leaving plants alone. last night after researching a bit, i think im going to go with rainbows, it just depends which exact kind i want, the parkinsons rainbows are quite cool looking. why dont i see more discussion on this forum about rainbow fish? what section do they fall under?

Cyprinids, Characins and Atherinids I believe!
