Looking At Getting N.eggersi Red

To be blunt, I know little to nothing about killifish.

But I like the look of this species, and I'm interested in finding out more about them, so I can possibly go about getting some.

I can get 25 eggs off ebay at a decent price.

So please, tell me all there is to know about this fish, and can someone tell me if it could be compatible with Betta Splendens?

May I suggest that you'd be better off with (GUE) Nothobranchius guentheri as a first species, much less problematic.
Better with a small species tank for these rather than mix them with counterparts.
