I managed to get a company to give me a budget of 400 pounds to refurb and re-stock their poorly maintained fish pond/aquarium thingy in the waiting room

Here it is before...

Excuse the murky water, as you will probably be aware, the gravel has dusted the water slightly, should clear in a day or two.

I cleaned all the stones, removed a few, removed the limescale, added three powerhead type filters to clean and provide a current after adding the new cleaned gravel. I also re-stocked the pond with 80 pounds worth of Koi.

So, i spent about 150 quid doing it, got me 250 quid out of it!! Took me 3 hours from start to finish. Best of all, i have a 60 quid a month maintenance contract. Where all i do is basically clean the filters out once a month!!

OH, and even better, when they pack up in 6 months time (its a sales office for new building development) i get to take all the stuff/fish back :D

i know people that hire aquariums with fish suply food and maintinance weekly to busineses and do quite well at it . over time it can build nicely. nice jpb and good luck with it .australia :D

nice work ;)

I looked into doing it localy on as a new buisness venture after quitting my last job...

nice work :)
