Longnose Gar

What can you tell me about longnose gars? I have one in a 55 and he eats alot, how much should they eat?

How big is your long nose gar? IME gars will eat the equivilent of one fish half their own size every two days. Do you plan to upgrade your tank in the near future? Long nose gars grow to around 5 feet in the wild and require a tank larger than any home aquarium can provide.
