hi...

i had a pair of endler guppies...

the female is very pregnant for a very long time, almost 2 month, the male is crazy in mating and chase the female all the time, even when i cought them out to chage the water...

the female have been pregnant, very pregnant for very llong, i can even ser the babies eyes in the stomach...

any clues?

i had pair of normal guppies who had already 3 brood since the endler female got pregnant

thank alot

are you sure she hasn't given birth and you've missed them?
also if its just a pair then you'll need more females to reduce stress

You must of missed a few births cos endlers drop every 17-24 days

I had this problem a few months back. My very pregnant platy absolutely refused to give birth while the male was still in the tank. Even with another female in the tank to distract him, the pregnant female delayed giving birth for four months. When I finally did remove the male, she gave birth to about 10-15 fry a week later. My advice would be to separate the female from the male a.s.a.p.

the male has died
i move him to the smaller tank with some of the fries( from the normal guppy)
and it jupm off, dried on the floor

it has been awhile, since i post this topic...

no babies still
i don think i missed the birth, the female is in the plain tamk with teh trap for the mother...
i really want endler baby...whaaaaaa

oww...
what if the female is carrying fancy guppy babies?
coz, in the tank in the shop there is 3-4 fency male guppy...
fency guppy is bigger, will it be the problem?
thk

this is the same question asked by my fg

i bought 3 female and 2 male endler guppy
the i of female that has been pregnant for about over 3 months...(since i bought them)
i can see the babies eyes in the belly, and the stomach growing bigger, eating quiet well but very inactive compared to the rest...
