Lonely?

is it ok to keep platys on there own, or do they like company of there own type? im going to keep glowlight and neon tetras with 1... but dont know wether it wud get lonely

o ok, iv decided to get cherry barbs instead, theres not enuf roo m for a group of platys, dont want 2 overstock!

Cherry barbs are also sociable fish, its not good to keep them on their own either as they are schooling/shoaling fish. How many gallons is your tank?

its 4o litres, (dont know wat it is in gallons) i was gonna keep 6 glowlight tetras, 3 cherry barbs, 2 panda corydoras.

That is about 10 gallons, you might want to think of upgrading your tank to a 20 gallon (75 litres) to have enough room for the fish you want, your fish may not be as happy in the 10 gallon because it would have less friends in it, but they may be very happy in a twenty gallon with lots of friends in it.
