Lonely Kissing Fish

lost one of my kissing fish a couple of weeks ago. is it a good idea to get her another freind or will she be ok because i also have 2 gold Gouramis in the tank aswell

Keep it alone. They grow to 10" (often more) so you need a pretty big tank for 2 in the long run. They are also territorial and gold gouramies can be very aggressive so its best to avoid overcrowding.

BTW, I don't suppose you've bred the kissing gourami? They can't actualy be sexed unless they spawn so your 'she' could just as well be a 'he'.

i only called it a she because i heared that the females were generally larger than the male, and when i bought them both they were same size but the one i have now grew much faster than the other. nt sure wether this theorie is true tho. but chearse ill just stick to the one for the time being
