I have a male bolivian ram in my community tank. Is he ok alone or should I get one or two females or another male or what??
Thanks!

Yeah you could get another two females and then if he pairs with one you'll probs wanna rehome the loveless female :p

how big is the tank?

what else is in there?

With a lone one you want see it's best colouration or the great social characteristics that the species shows. I have 5 (6 until very recently) in my 300L and they are constantly flaring and chasing each other, but with no ill effects (it's all show).

My tank is 180 litres. I have a male betta, neon tetras, harliquin rasboras, platys, a molly, a clown plec, corys and the ram. Do you think I could add some more rams?

I would personally. I would add 2 females like AA ^ said. I only have 2 now, but they are a pair so it's working.

Ok guys, thanks! I'll look for a couple of females and see how it goes. I hope I sex them right. I think he's full-grown so I'll get some mature ladies. :good:
