Well i live in the heart of "The Cotswolds". Rural villages, lots of sheep, rolling hills and valleys, lots of old country houses. Its nice and i often feel privilaged that my parents moved to such a nice part of England (We moved from London when i was a toddler).

Anyway here are just some of the pictures i took yesterday, i may even take more as there is always plenty.....unfortunately it started raining!


A natural spring in our village...

Stream running through one of the valleys near us...

And part of the large woodland near us, home to many rare species of animal, and various Roman remains...

Poor Phesants are everywhere this time of year as its hunting season from Sept 1st...

what kind of house do you live in, ben?
a cottage-style house or is it modern?

i remember travelling in the english countryside (where, though, im not sure) when i was a child and dont remember seeing any building that looked as if it had been built in the last 2 centuries!

Awesome Pictures! I especially love the first one! I visited my bestfriend in England this past March and it was a very pretty place. As you said a whole lot of hills, sheep and villages. We also went to London for three days, which was more my style of place, but I do admit, the countryside was beautiful!

I live in an old barn that was converted into a house 30-40 years ago. So it looks nice, and old looking, but inside its quite modern..

Will probably tank more pictures today so watch this space!
