NO NO NO NO NO NO!!! NOT with guppies or platies!!! The crayfish will eat them, no matter how big your tank is!!! If you want crayfish, it would be best for you to have them in a tank with only the crays--if you get fish, they should be top-level fish ONLY! If they go anywhere near the bottom, they will get eaten!!

Nope, no small fish of any kind. No matter how fast they are or where they normally stay in an aquarium. Anything under 4" is a meal and even anything under 6" can be depending on the size of the cray.

I have guppies in a tank full of lobster/crayfish young (biggest being about an inch and a half) and so far they remain untouched. However thay are expendable (of course I wouldn't want to see anything happen to them but I have no choice at the moment). I would definately not keep any fish that are expensive or favorites with lobsters/crays. If you don't want your fish nipped or eaten then DON'T keep any with them.

I would also like to point out that there are existing threads that you might find helpful, you could post there and get the info that you need.

Its not hard to find, just do a search or flick through the pages here. :D
