My bigger loaches are due to move into their new tank next week. 2 clown loaches and 2 Indian (Yo Yo) loaches. They're between 4 and 5 inches but I've already installed a clean-up team of 5 mixed, baby catfish of between half to one inch long. Will the biggies attack the littlies? :dunno:

u should have no problems. i have 2 clown loaches in with some cories that are about 3/4 to an inch long and i have had no problems, but my loahces r also only about 3 1/2 inches long too, u shoudnt have a problem tho

What sort of baby catfish?
You probably won't have problems but I do know that larger loaches have been known to eat small fish if they can catch them and fit them in their mouths. You may be better off letting the young catfish grow up a bit in a seperate tank and add them in with the loaches later in the larger new tank.

Thanks Sylvia. My loaches are quite big and I don't want them eating my baby catfish so perhaps I'l put them in the fry tank for now. Ta loads xxx
PS my catfish are baby upside down type, about 1 inch long oh so sweet
