Loach Or Cory

I am thinking of getting barbs. for example ruby,  tiger, golden a few each and i am not sure to keep corys or loaches
The corys i could  get would  be a shoal of pepperred or  the loach would be 4 each of zebra and  pakistani, maybe skunk 
i am not sure what to get i have heard that barbs might attack corys ,and loach and corys are not safe together as the loach are semi-aggressive
oh , i want the corys and the loach so the bottom of the tank does not look dull 
so i came to the forum for help

I've tried cories with tiger barbs and it didn't work; the tigers were just too aggressive for the little cories.
 
Loaches should work; I kept my tigers with zebra loaches successfully for years. The skunk loach are very aggressive; they might be too much for your barbs!
 
I wouldn't keep cories and loach together, either; stick with the zebras or Pakistanis and you should be fine

Well with barbs I don't think cories would work unless it's a larger tank (55 or more) and there's tons of plants hiding the bottom..but if your tank is say, 20 gallons or less that's too small for zebra loaches...in fact for a proper school I'd say 55gs is bare min. But you could get away with a 30.
