i dont know were it fits in species wise anyone know any info on these fish?
i think it might be a loach of some kind it has been labeled as lizard fish its sort of orange with orangy brown blotches on it

its a freshwater fish no that isnt it its an orangy red with orangy brown splotches on the body it has the body shape of a chinese algae eater but without the sucker mouth it looks like a loach with barbels around its mouth

Someone was on here recenting with a similarly named "catfish" that turned out to be a hillstream loach. Check here and see if any of these match your fish.

"Lizard fish" is a name given to a group (or perhaps just a genus) of hillstream fish.

it says they are generally peaceful but very boisterous at feeding time, and will butt other fish away.

Says they are grazers, so have algae wafers for them and spirulina.
