can i hybrid a female platy with a male molly? i have just got 2 platies and i already have 4 mollies (+ 6 fry). I hve 3 females and 1 male. will he breeds with either of my 2 new platies or will he leave them alone?

I'm not totally sure but I have a couple black baby fry and my fish tank has two black molly females and some males there. Also have some black and red fry probably from my red platy and black molly. Some of the black fry have been dying off.

i am pretty sure a molly and platy can not successfully hybridize, but male sworstails often hybridize with female platies.
