Was this all in london? What was Brad doing in london?
He was introducing Annie Lennox onto the stage and delivering a speech about why we were there. He was also exciting a few of the ladies ;)

And as for me being on stage, the only way you'd have seen me up there was as I ran on to carry Joss Stone off to my lair

Thanks for all your comments and yes it was an awesome day  pretty much all the acts were fabulous  :kana: , Pete Docherty (sp) and Velvet Revolver  being the exceptions though at least they gave us time to lay on the grass and rest our feet. The atmosphere was great, they provided free drinking water (which probably saved me £25 in extortionate drinks), weather was OK and the company was the best  The only gripes are that it overran soo late and they sold out of t-shirts really early and in light of what it was all about I shan't complain to loud about it.

He used to be in a boyband called Take That, usual cheesey nasty pop songs and tons of cover versions.

He left, got addicted to drink and drugs, went through rehab and then went solo and had a MASSIVE hit with a song called Angels, which he no longer needs to sing as any crowd in the UK will sing it for him, you must have seen it on the TV footage. Since then he has become a national institution in the UK.

He is not the best singer or songwriter around, but he must be close to being the best overall entertainer in the business at the moment, showed by the way he got the crowd going at Live8. Oh and the girls seem to thing he's cute  :dunno: :p

i did think his performance was one of the best, especially compared to the likes of mariah and a few others
