hi, i live in a town called morecambe, by the sea, and its well known for its morecambe bay potted shrimp, i have been after some live river shrimp for ages now with no luck, then thought to myself, if these shrimp in morecambe bay are good enough for human consumption, are they any good for my fish?
well, i don't know so im hoping someone could tell me,
thousands and thousands of shrimp are caught in the bay weekly, i was thinking if i get down to one of the pools and catch some shrimp in a net, and kept them in a bucket outside, washed them and gave them to my rays to eat, would they be safe.
as far as i know anyhting in salt water animals can't spread to fresh water animals? but the fact people use these shrimp for eating they must be ok? even the queen of england has her own supply of morecambe bay shrimp so they must be reasonably good!!
