A smile costs nothing :)
We have had live rock in our tank for about a week now and we've got allsorts starting to appear and this is where I need your help please.
I can't take photos at the moment as my camera's not working so I'll describe everything as best as I can.
1. Snails - white and brown almost checkered markings, smallest is about 4cm and the biggest is about 7cm. Any ideas on what they are?
2. Bristleworms? - I've found about 5 and only noticed them tonight. A couple of them are quite pale but the others are a brown colur, remind me a bit of millipedes. Are they harmful at all or can we just leave them in the tank?
3. No idea how to explain these! We have a beautiful bit of LR with mushrooms and a kind of grassy looking thing growing on it. There appears to be about 6 tiny little creatures on this piece of rock but I can't see any anywhere else. They are about 2-3cm and are almost transluscent. One or two of them appear to have a slight brown line along their backs and they also have "feelers". I've just been watching them and I can't tell if they're fighting or mating..
Any ideas on what they could be?
Any help will be much appreciated,
Angie
