My LR has this clear white mucus growing on it, it kind of floats out like a web. Should i clean the LR??

How old is your tank? What are your stats? Any pictures?
I had the same thing when I was curing my LR, it was caused by die off, I just blow it off the rock.

my tank is about 7 months old now. my stats are showing fine when i tested. are you generally suppose to do a quick clean on LR over time to remove some stuff? how do i go about doing that?

if it is a white mucus get an old credit card and give it a clean and then just blow it of the rocks that what i do but if its a sponge then keep it

are you sure you dont have an ammonia/nitrite thats what would usally cos this

hi it look like you have sponges growing in your tank which is a good sign so dont do any thing just leave them alone

There are many different sponges, I have some white ones in my tank.
