Live Rock + Sand Added - How Long Do I Wait To Settle?

I received my Live Rock two days ago.

I have placed it all in my tank nicely, and added my Live Sand.

I turned all equipment off, except for the heater. So there is nothing running, no skimmer, no powerheads, no flow to the sump.

The sand hasnt completely settled yet, but it is slowly settling. My question is, will the live rock be OK with no powerheads or air exchange happening?

My initial thoughts were to let the sand settle for few days and then turn everything on?

Is this correct to do it this way?

Id turn them all on now. It will all settle

get those powerheads running NOW!

If you leave it too long the live rock will die.

Yep I agree, turn everything on now, I had everything running and the sand settled eventually, you need the powerheads running 24/7 for the LR.

Trod and I are a bit confused, how long have you been setting up this tank? Just read your other posts!

Have you had the tank long, Do you have any pictures?
Have you kept marine before,
I don't want to cause offensive, but it seems an odd question to ask after reading your previous posts you appear to be quite knowledgable already
