live plants

Hi guys,
Does anyone know where i could buy decent live plants for my tank as cheap as possable in the fife or edinburgh area or even mail order?

Also which type of plants are the best ones to use my tank has plattys,sailfin mollies,gouramis and black widows also a plec and 2 chilids.

I've used www.java-plants.com and I bought their tropical collection

85 plants for £12.95, cant go wrong really!

£1.75 for p&p is good to and they come well packaged with a good selection of plants

I see you have Molly's and Gouramis, whatever you do, don't get 'Elodea' They will strip it bare.

I had to take what I had put in out, they didn't stop eating it. I like it though, nice and tall and hid the heater/filter ect ect

WOW! i have just been on the site Barday gave me www.java-plants.com and went into the collections part and bought 85 plants for £12.95 what a bargin and so easy to use. I wont need all the plants but my father inlaw and my sister inlaw also have tanks so looks like they will be getting some new plants.

Although there are 85 plants in the pank - there wont actually be that much in there.

a group of 10 vallis is a good sized bunch - that you would normally get from your lfs.

there will be enough there- but sort your tank out first dont give them away thinking you'll have loads.

P.S. what is yout lighting like?
We spent a fortune on plants before we finally managed to keep them alive.
