i have brought these plants recently and they are still in the black pot and wool.
what should i do with them?, as i tried a google search and everyone comes up with different ideas.
im unsure whether i should plant it into the gravel

Bacopa caroliniana
and
Hygrophila corymbosa

Yes, you plant them in the gravel. Take them out of the pots and get as much of the wool off as you can, without damaging the roots.

If you are to plant them in the substrate, you'll need to remove as much rock wool from the plants as possible, trying not to damage the roots too much. After that, you can pretty much just plant them in the substrate - you could use tweeers if wanted, or you could probably just make a hole, pop in the plant and bury that which is under the substrate.

Hi
i have both of these.Nice choice.
You definitely want to remove them from their pots, and gently tease the wool away from the roots (run them under the tap helps)
Plant individual stems a couple of inches away from each other in the gravel.
IMO planting in little groups will look more natural
