If it were me, I would do a water change to get out some of the clarifier. I am not familiar with this particular product, but it is best to keep chemicals out of the aquarium as much as we can. Years ago when I used one of these, the fish all huddled at the opposite end of the tank within minutes, alerting me to the danger, which is why I no longer use them.
The cloudiness is either sediment from the tap water or aquarium, which will settle out, or a bacterial bloom which will clear itself at some point. The latter can occur suddenly for any one of several reasons, and are usually not dangerous though unsightly. I have severn tanks running presently, and one of them got slightly cloudy overnight and it lasted several days, then suddenly vanished. This is also common after cleaning the filter, and sometimes a thorough water change, as these can affect various bacteria and in the case of a water change introduce tons of organics in the tap water.
