I am having serious problems with some kind of disease in my tank. Already dealing with that on another part of this forum.

Question: I am about to start using Jungle labs velvet meds. It says not to use with live plants. What do I do with them. Could they be infected and need to be thrown out? Do I soak in salt solution?

Have lost 6 fish in 3 days. Need to do meds, and would rather toss plants rather than infecting tank once treatment is over.

Do plants have ability to hold fungus or bacteria that could harm the fish. Not too sure what is wrong in tank. Doing fungal and switching to velvet. Different fish are showing different signs.

Long story short, Do I toss the plants, or is there something to do to save them?

plants can carry diseases, just put them in a bucket, and before replacing wash thoroughly, or in a weak solution of the medication for a day

I have been doing different treatments as different fish showed different signs of disease. Should I use both the fungal and velvet treatment with the plants? Can I do them at the same time or one at a time and then a wc before the next one?
