Someone suggested live food to watch the fish act naturally and chase it down. Ive researched and found that earthworms might and might not retain parasites. Kinda up in the air with this one. So I looking for suggestions... have a cray in each tank and know that they would love it. My newest addition is a peacock eel and he/she eats live. Just frozen brine shrimp so far for each tank along with algae wafer and flakes. Just wondering if I should or shouldnt on the worms out back?

Sometimes stick my hand in for my male green terror or apistogramma (obviously not the same tank) to chew on if that counts as live food?
But on a serious note, isn't worth the risk really with the worms.

I think buying worms from a bait shop would be fine, since night crawlers live in cold weather and the parasites are not meant for tropical water but I guess it could happen. Also worms are often farmed and sold online. If you are really interested you can start a little worm farm in your garage or back yard and feed them left over food.
