Live Food From Lfs

hi there. i like to do at least 2 live feeds a week.but it suddenly dawned on me today that matbe i shouldn't be adding the water from the live food to my tank.
but i dont really see how i can avoid it.
what do you think?

well i always just pour in the bag, i have never had an issue in doing this

i use a pipette to suck up some juice and worms, then onto a net to strain off the juice, personally i dont think putting the juice in is a good idea

ok so i would need a really fine net to strain the water i guess? but then on the other hand you say youve had no problems binksy?

I always strain through a net first. Bags of worms/shrimp sitting in a warm shop for a few days doesn't make for healthy water!

I always strain the daphnia through a net, I mean the juice is sort of red/pink, doesn't look healthy.

You can buy live food feeders that basically sieve the live food... I'll try and find a link to one.

well TBH adding thw whole content will do ur tank no harm the thing that is most likely to cause a problem is the food its self not the water its in as the food can carry desieses but not usually
