RIP Dear nan 22/03/1925 --11/03/2009
I have read quite a few posts on many forums saying that they lost their fry due to losing their live food cultures and so couldn't feed their fry
you dont need to feed betta fry live food - they survive and grow well on dry food
mine havent had any live food at all and are 27 days old and over 2CM in length showing nice fin growth and colouring - better than some who have fed live food - micro/banana worms or newly hatched brine shrimp
Mine are fed 4 times a day with a selection of Dry food consists of a mix of these 1 choice per feed - ZM 000 and 00 moving on to 0 lol , hikari first bites , red crumb , super high pro + fry , DUSTED - spirulina , algae , seaweed , bloodworm , brineshrimp and daphnia
melted frozen mix , frozen improvit pellets , sayuri betta pellets 1mm and then a mix of the dry foods above with flake - they have a selection of these still 4 meals a day
