Live Food Cultivation

Hi,

I,ve been thinking about trying to grow some live food for my community tank, but can't make up my mind on what to go for.

Brine shrimp appears to be popular, quite a simple setup, but i would rather grow something a bit more substantial for my loaches and gouramies.

Blood worms look suitable, but apparently the setup stinks and need to be kept outside.

And micro worms are also just too small.

Has anyone tried any alternatives?

I've only done brine shrimp which my cardinal tetras go mad for. I'm interested to hear what ather people have done.

worms can also be kept in irish mosspeat and fed once a week on readybrek /porridge oats
