Live Daphnia Need Urgently Or Baby Brine Shrimp

Argh!

Disaster this evening, my axolotls have started to hatch our of their eggs a full week ahead of when they were expected and I haven't got anything for their first feed. They won't touch anything that's not live and they're teeny tiny.

I'm in North London, but will happily jump in the car and travel and come and pay cash for daphnia (even from a garden pond if anyone has any in their pond) or baby brine shrimp or anything similar to this if anyone has any cultures on the go.

Please PM me if you can help. These little guys may not make it through the night if they don't get a feed soon.

I will pay whatever the going rate is for something - will travel to Herts, London, Essex - in fact, I'm desperate, almost anywhere!

Sorry i cant help, but, take ya number off here... there is lots of crap on the net that scan forums and stuff for mobile numbers etc and it can be unpleasent.

No help as yet

The little ones are alive right now, will have to go to bed in a bit as I'm going to be up and at the shops for when they open.
Less than half have hatched so far but I would imagine all will be out by morning.

They won't (as far as I know and can tell) take anything that isn't moving, so I've tried liquifry and crushed dried bloodworm but no interest in those so far.


They are cannibalistic so I guess they will eat each other overnight Which is a big shame, but not all will die.

Fingers crossed for them overnight.

I will certainly let you know how they are in the morning (and how they enjoy their first meal of live food too!).

Looking at my 10" long adults, you just wouldn't imagine they start out this tiny - they're like little grains of rice.
