It says if they fail to sprout you get a free replacement... I'd try them.

You can get them at Walmart for about $2.99 a package. I got the agop??? bulbs and they've grown great. However, my lilly bulbs did nothing. For $3 with a warranty though, it's worth a shot.

I've tried them.... Both the aponegon and lily bulbs grew in my tanks. I even sent back the ones that didnt bloom and they sent me replacements. I think they are worth it.

I bought the aponegon, I will do a water change tonight and drop them in...how did you guys put them in the tnak...any special technique for great results? WHat do I have to do after dropping them in?

I would put them in the back, because they grow very fast and tall, you probably will have to cut them down. All you have to do is drop them in and wait.... sometimes it takes 1-2 weeks before they start to grow, but once they do they grow very quickly!

Same here... I just let them fall where they wanted, and a couple of weeks later I actually moved and planted them where I wanted them. Easy as pie.

I dont use bulbs for light instead I use lamp for better view. But how ever in many ways plants grow more healthy under natural sunlight thats why I set up a 20 g tank next to window for healthy 10-14 hours of healthy sunlight. But the only problem is I have to keep an eyes on the algae problem. How ever if your tank r heavily planted and have the right amount of co2 and nitrite ur plants should out grow algae no problem just like my one.
