idk if its illegal or not to keep reptiles from the wild and no i dont
personally i think its dumb to take animals out of their natural habitat just leave them in the wild..we ended up rescuing because my older brother his fiance's sister found it in myrtle beach and decided to take it home put it in a fish bowl with barely any water and didnt take good care of it at all so my brother did his research on the type of turtle it was and what type of food it eats and every thing, i ended up with it because he didnt want it in his apartment when they got a snake and he became a lot of work when he got bigger for them im giving it until summer and then im gonna introduce him back into the wild because i just feel sorry for him now
personally i didnt know feeder fish were bad, my bad on my part for not doing the research, but we havent fed them to him very often we usually feed him stuff more plant related or i usually do since im the primary care taker for him now
