Hi all, as per usual; I'm new and in need of help.
Not a 100% new fish keeper, however, i bit off more than i can chew when i took over a tank off someone. Also unsure of all breed names in English and some i just haven't had before.
Most of the fish are left over from when i took over and some I've bought.
Not going into huge detail but here's where i stand:
Main tank Roughly 300L
Two ext filters only using one atm
2x Calla lillies happily growing
Slate bottom, moss balls,
1x Adult(very) Angel
5x female platy 2x male
8x neons (2 cardinal)
1x black tetra (unsure of name)
2x red eyed clear (again unsure ) tetras.
Baby tank for swordtail as one birthed
Baby tank for Amano zoes
Shrimp tank due to main being under treatment
One 20L for my Danios as expecting.
With one sub. Male swordtail.
All in all
Main tank is sick. Water make up is fine been testing every day since i almost lost everything due to someone trying to surprise me by "helping" and no filter starter or tap safe or anything... -.- had a big ammonia issue lots fish died... Had to get all fish out and start again.
Now i have a small outbreak of fungus. Not ich 100% drained half tank and treating. Understanding after all some of these guys have been through.
Water is clean finally established a filter after 2 weeks(very quick i think) and slowly been putting the fish back in from another tank. Carbonate levels a little high. (Slate\) would that be an issue?
Ive been fighting to save this little Kingdom but I'm sure after buying a new fish ive spread the fungus. My bad as i didn't quarantine it. Asked shop if each tank has a separate sump and got told yes however i don't believe it now
I need a little help as ive started feeling lost and whenever things seem to stabilize something goes wrong =_=
