Little Help Guys.

Just confused with my new tank its been up running a week and theres hardly any ammonia or nitrates.
Would this be caused by the fact i used Nutrafin cycle and I took alot of Filter media from my brothers tank.

What should i expect next from the cycle??

well given the fact that you took a bunch of media from another tank (which i'm assuming is fully mature?) You're tank should be close to mature as well. you should expect the ammonia and nitrite to fall to 0 shortly. your nitrate should gradually rise a bit and hold steady, granted you have enough filtration/keep up with water changes.

Thanks you i thought id have to wait for weeks. Well happy now ill still keep on top of the test to make sure.

Fish in the tank. Its gona be used for a Cherry shrimp tank.

then as long as you keep on top of your water changes whenever ammonia or nitrite get above 0.25 then you'll be fine - ugly probably only take a couple of weeks
