So yesterday I added an airstone to my 20gal tank.
Today, I look in the tank and it appears to be little bubbles sticking to the glass.
Upon further inspection, I notice that they are not in fact bubbles.
I really can't figure out what they are. They're on the glass, on the fake plants, on the wood.
They appear to be little white-ish globes, a little less than a millimeter to a millimeter in diameter. The ones on the glass seem to be broken open, while the ones on the plants are intact, this could be due to the fact that my diamond tetra seems to like their taste and keeps eating the ones off the glass.
Fish are all healthy. I've been doing daily water changes (to get rid of the meds that were in the tank before).
Only things that have changed in the past few days:
-airstone
-aquarium salt (shark was bloated and I added a very small amount of salt to help him sweat it out, which is working)
Any ideas?
