Little fry cant jump?!?

Eh.. my swordtail had say 15 fry which i caught anyway, and i put them in breeder container thing in the fish tank, but now (1 month later) ive got 4 :lol:

. Are they jumping out of the container?? And is there anyway 2 stop this?.....

yes its a forum, and theres no need for that attitude... maybe they can jump??? most fish can, mine were great at avoiding the net to catch them with by jumping, so its a possibility.

but were here to help out...chill dude...were not freaks who are on this forum 24/7 buy a pennplax breeder net..it has movable plants inside to help prevent fry from jumping..i havent had a single fry missing yet...so just chill 8) 8) 8)

If they are 1 month old they can jump (swordtails are made to jump) but not very high mabey you could raise the breeder trap or lower the water level in the tank and trap.

imo i think you should let em go unless u got a really really big fish... my fry were 3-4 weeks old i released em because they were big enough... they should be able to fend on their own... maybe you can try getting them their own 10 gallon eh?? :hey:

oh yeah you should try some coffee that always brightens most people's days.. im not old enough to like it unless its packed with sugar.... i understand ur annoyance with not getting an answer... ive had that feeling... and have you ever heard of the "bump" maybe they helped you more... i can see youve had a bad day... but you dont have to make other people have 1 2. so lets sing the i love you song...
