Little Fish For A Little Tank

Just set one of these up in my daughters room and wondered what sort of fish i could put in there, this has a built in heater and filter.

Thinking a betta and a few rock shrimps (with the fans not claws)

Any other fish like WC minnows 2-5 of them? not with the fighter of course

I was under the impression that filter feeding shrimp will need a tank of at least 15-20 gallons and you dont want to put them in a newly established tank either. Something to do with them having enough microorganisms living in the water to feed from.

not sure i would put any fish in 15 litres long term, but maybe you could look at a crab or something a little different. Of course the normal suggestion would be cherry shrimp.

WCMMs like lots of room and plenty of current, definitely not suitable for a 15 litre.

I think you're going to struggle long term with anything other than a betta. Could try shrimp too but mine have often become a snack.
