Wow, I guess I have codependent swordtails. I've got a group of 6 that was born Oct. 31. Normally I individually name my swordies but this group is just referred to as the "Spotty Kids". Ever since they were born they've hung together as a group. I know swordies aren't considered a schooling fish but apparently their Mom Spotty never told them that. They always follow each other around and at night they even sleep in a pile. I caught them in a pile last night and it was so funny looking. One is starting to develop a sword, it's about a quarter inch long and I think the other 5 are going to stay female. I've never seen them squabble amongst themselves and they are super friendly. They always come up and swim around my hands if I'm doing anything in the tank. I've moved them a couple of times and they swim right into the net. They are so trusting it amazes me.
