Liquid Test Kits

Which ones are the best, and how much are they?

Just want a rough idea on how much i will end up spending, and which ones are better, as i don't want to waste my money.

I bought the API master kit from pets at home the 1st time. You get everything in there from testubes and caps, drop solutions for amonia, nitrite, nitrate, PH and High range PH, colour chart cards and booklet. Cost £17.99 for set up. As you use and run out of solutions you can then buy the bottles seperate for a couple of pounds.

Not used any other kind so cant comment on them but Im ok with mine and not had any problems. Easy to use aswell.

I too really like the API master test kit. It is a bargain compared to putting together everything you need separately. I'm in the USA and bought it from PETCO online for about $12 USD. That's a real bargain compared to buying it at a lfs where they cost upwards of $40 USD. The tests are simple, work well, good color cards and instructions, nice test tubes, and even a nice storage case.

Just to add the 3rd opinion... API Master Test Kit is the way to go! Great product, reliable and well the price varies, check around because sometimes they go on sale and you can buy them for a nice cheap price! YAY! for Petco Sales!
