Limia Vittata

Yeah I noticed about the fry in colder temp, become mostly males. It happened to my guppies, molly and gambusia too (I kept them in basement during winter). Is that myth because I'm begining to believe that its true. I don't get very many female wild guppies like two out of 10 fry every batch. I like your limias especially with these blotched marks.

As far as I am concerned it is not a myth, but I am not sure it is scientifically proven either. If you are getting too many males then that is a good place to start.

An interesting thing just happened. I just Googled limia vittata and, much to my surprise, this old thread came up on the first page. Who'd have thought I'd ever see it again? :D
Seems similar to karma...? Don't you think...? It came right back at ya... ?

13 year old thread, was wondering what the latest reply was...do you still have these fish?
