I got 7 HB Limia in temp accomodation in Juwel rekord 60 as dont want to cross breed with the guppies and only until the new larger tank comes either this weekend or next weekend (already got spare filter cycled)
they are quite small at the moment the largest being 2.5cm at the most
I took some pics after they were first added to the tank this morning so their fins arent up very often (especially when i'm trying to take a pic) and they were hiding in the plants but will take some more pics tomorrow morning when they will have hopefully settled a bit , they are all very active and look pretty healthy - please excuse the one doing a poo -
they have gone into the shrimp tank as quarentine tank has 2 platys that my neighbour didnt want and her tank was crap she never did water changes or anything - she didnt think she needed to  the platys were the only fish left alive with 9 dead guppies when she came back from holiday :( (i couldn't look after the fish as cant climb stairs)

You'll enjoy your Limia nigrofasciata; I certainly have done. The males, once mature, are remarkably attractive fish and very lively, though not dangerously aggressive towards one another, at least not in a big tank. Don't forget they're herbivores, and indeed the juveniles seem to need little feeding if the tank contains plenty of green algae.

Cheers, Neale

Thanks for the reply , they have really settled in well and are currently enjoying an algae wafer the young males already displaying to the tiny females lol though i dont think anything will come of it yet
