Limestone Rock

i thinking of doing a aquascape based on where i grew up, Wensleydale. I am going to roam the moors in the next couple of weeks to search for rocks and inspiration. The problem is that most the stone in my area is Limestone rock, is this safe to put in a aquarium?

It can raise the ph, however it hasnt in my tank.

To make sure put a few drops of vinegar on it, if it fizzes then it will raise you ph.
