Ok, recently the Geek Squad people came to my house and cleaned up the computer. LimeWire was causing lots of problems. So, he deleted it. Now, I really don't like iTunes set up, cause I think it's a rip off. Now, I don't want to download Kazaa either, because it has the same problems as LimeWire. How good is LimeWire Pro? I mean, I'm willing to pay $18.88 for it, and whatever fee per month to use it. Is this safe? It comes on a disc, right? There should be no spyware or adware. Thanks!

i downloaded Pro off the normal one too

Theres not much of a difference, theres just no pop ups and searchs come up faster, theres other stuff but its not really that noticible.

Limewire itself does not contain any adware or spyware that i am aware of. Just be carefull about what you download.

If you know what to download, and what to look out for, LimeWire is fine, i've been using it for over a year never and have never gotten a virus, but that's because I know what i'm looking out for, songs are usually 3000kb-5000kb, I only download mp3 files, and I make sure it doesn't have anything suspicious in it's name. However, if your like my Auntie and try to download the film "White Chicks", and get something that's about 8000KB, and isn't even a media file, then your going to have problems!

Why not check out Shareaza? It's an excellent free program, which is simple to use, and their site has a very active forum so you can get specific help for any problems you might have.

I have it tried, it, but my Fire Wall blocks almost everything. I like what I have now, Morpheus, it only has adware, but the computer clears it all out at 1 AM, or sooner if I decide to.
