Hi All,

Long story short I have picked up a 4ft tank but the bulbs/ballast are USA 110v fitment and so I am looking to remove these for proper UK spec lights. The lid is split into 2 seperate halves with each light hood 58cm wide. I am looking at getting a Hagen Glo Twin T5 Electronic Controller: 54w x 2 to power it but the bulbs are sooo confusing....

What bulbs do you recommend that are max 58cm and able to be connected to the Hagen controller?

I am looking at a community planted setup so would the setup be fine for that?

Go for a twin 39w instead and get 3ft bulbs

I cant get 3ft bulbs as my lid is in 2 bits, biggest I can go is 22" or its a new lid....

ok so I've been looking at other options for this and another way is to get a new clearseal lid(4ft) then a twin ballast and then I can run 2 full length bulbs..

How good are the clearseal lids?

Or am I best sticking to the lid I have and 2x 22" bulbs.... I cant seem to find and high watt 22" bulbs
