Hi

i've looked throught the forum and cant seem to find the answers. I have a juwel rio 125lt tank. I normally tur the two lights on at about 7am and they go out about 10pm. Is this too long a time, one of the bulbs is for plants etc.

both are 20watt

That is way too long, you need 8 hours maximum daily.

Yes this is too much. You can only really keep your lights on for 8 - 10hours max!

Put your lights on a timer, much easier. Mine are 2.30pm - 11pm (ish).
